Today was my first time near a beehive since April. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the sounds of the hive, the smell of the hive, standing in the flight path of the bees. I think I would've been completely content with all of that, but JB indulged us with an inspection. This is the 4th daughter of the Warre Hive. She was born on June 2, 2013. I'm not sure about this colony. It might need to be combined with another, in order to make it through Winter. What do you think?
