Sweat Bee

There are lots of pollinating insects, like this Sweat Bee, but honeybees are the only ones that can be managed in a hive. Their willingness to be manipulated has made them vulnerable, and now they need our help. Even their wild cousins are showing signs of CCD.

Planting a bee-friendly garden is a great way to help. Click here for a list of plants that bees like or here and find out by zip code.

If you can't plant a garden, you can support endeavors like A New Hive or Häagen Dazs' "Help the Honeybees."
